Viz in Process - Dear Barbie - Step 2 - Miro

Alright folks, welcome to Step 2 in this wild ride of a creative process. If Step 1 was dragging random dimensions onto the canvas and calling it “exploration,” then Step 2 is me trying to make sense of the mess.

Enter: Miro.

I’m a visual person, so getting everything in one space—ideas, sketches, data thoughts, half-baked chart concepts—actually helps. Miro becomes my brain dump, storyboard, and therapy session all in one. I drop sticky notes, draw lines between totally unrelated ideas, and rearrange boxes until something clicks (or until I get distracted and rearrange them all over again).

Is it pretty? Not always. Is it helpful? Surprisingly, yes.

This is the step where chaos starts turning into clarity. Sort of.
