Welcome to Step 4 of Viz in Process—Shaping the Design. This is the part where I start pulling everything together visually. After exploring the data, sketching ideas, and building early structure, now it’s about making intentional design decisions that inspire the story I want to tell.

Color, layout, typography, chart choices—every detail starts to come into focus here. I’m not aiming for perfection yet. I’m aiming for clarity, feeling, and flow. This step helps me see the story in a new way, and often, it sparks fresh ideas I didn’t plan for at the start.
